Simplify SSO Login On the Dashboard [FEAT - 853]

:boom: Please Note: I am not the original requestor. This feature request was submitted by another community member in our former (now depreciated) community forum.

I would like to have options to “Login with Google” or “Login with Microsoft” directly available on Please Login - Pantheon Dashboard.

Currently, I have to

  • Load the login page and click the Use Single Sign-On? Log in here.
  • Click the Log in with Enterprise SSO button
  • Enter my email address (since my SSO account uses Microsoft, not Google)
  • Get authenticated via SSO and redirected to the dashboard

Ideally, I’d like to:

  • Load the login page and click a “Login with Microsoft” button
  • Get authenticated via SSO and redirected to the dashboard

A four-step process could just be a two-step process and help ease a little frustration every morning.

We use our own IdP and experience a similarly long SSO flow. We used to be able to do an IdP-initiated login, but it seems like that no longer works. It would be great to have that back! We used to have it as a link in our employee portal (visible only to those who needed it), and it was a nice timesaver for logging in to the Dashboard.
